So, after watching the Obama inauguration today, some thoughts;
1) Didn't Huw Edwards look cold?
2) Why do cellists insist on smiling inanely and intermittently raising their eyebrows at the other musicians, as if to say 'What do you reckon to that then, eh?!'?
3) Has Aretha Franklin really still got it or not?
4) Does the fact Obama fluffed his lines completely as he was being sworn in make me like him even more?
5) How many people watched Celebrity Cash in the Attic instead?

YES. I loved Obama fluffing his lines.
I wonder if he's in his White House bedroom right now, sitting on the edge of the bed, head in hands, going "I can't believe I messed up my words. What a dick!" And Michelle is laughing her head off and going "Yeah, you dick."
...Or at least, that's what I'd be doing.
If it was me that would be playing on my mind all the way til Christmas...'You utter, utter WANKER' I'd be saying to myself. I'd go through a couple of weeks without thinking about it, then one day while I was alone with some idle thoughts (cos there'd be time for that if I was US President) it would come back to me, and I'd feel that terrible wave of embarrassment all over again.
Also, if it was me, America would go to complete shit in a matter of weeks...

Most definitely not.
I could've done better than that. That little girl at the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony did better than that, and she was miming. God awful. Racists.
Dolly would've been far more fitting.
